Kuang Si Waterfall

Tham Khoun Xe Cave
Tham Khoun Xe, also known as Xe Bang Fai, is a large river cave located in the central province of Khammouane in Laos. The cave was discovered by a group of French explorers in 1905.
According to the expedition’s report, Tham Khoun Cave is an underground section of Xe Bang Fai River, which is one of the largest river caves in the world, with huge caves 120 meters high and 200 meters wide and many impressive geological structures.
In the cave, there is a green forest growing at the entrance of the cave, the green color of the forest contrasts with the white, the orange of the terraced fields, creating a unique and delicate color on the limestone walls.
