The Night Market takes place from 5pm to 11pm. It sells a wide range of items such as handmade souvenirs, homemade whiskeys, Laotian coffee beans so you can buy a local crafts for friends and family as a gift. For a meal, you should head over to the end of market and you will see Night Food Market where many local delicacies are sold. However, note that the market is very crowded after 10pm.

Taking in Buddhist culture at the Golden City Temple
Golden City Temple (Wat Xieng Thong) is one of the most important monuments to the spirit of Laos, royalty and traditional style of Luang Prabang. The temple consists of over 20 structures including shrines, residences and pavilions. It is the house to rare Buddha images and golden royal funerary carriage.

When to visit Luang Prabang
In Luang Prabang, the seasons run different with normal tourist cycles. The best time for a visit to Laos is the dry season which lasts from October to April. During this time, the weather is cool.
